Poker fans will soon be treated to “2 Months, $2 Million’ , a reality TV show about online poker players that is currently filming and due to screen on US cable channel ‘G4′ in August.

The show follows the progress of four online poker players competing to win $2 million in 2 months collectively. The players (Jason “pr1nnyraid” Rosenkrantz, Brian “Flawless_Victory” Roberts, Emil “whitelime” Patel, and Dani “Ansky” Stern) are already well known online players who have won significant prizes before.

To keep it interesting, players will be using their own money for staking so you can only imagine what the tension levels will be like!

The series will comprise of 10 x 30 minute episodes and is aimed at the 18-34 yr old demographic who are described as “already plugged in” by Laura Civiello, Vice President of Development for G4.

I guess you should keep an eye on the tables for these guys over the next few months, especially if you want to get your handle up in lights! You never know which game they might be filming.

No word yet if the show will screen on NZ TV, but you can be sure it will be available seconds after it screens via your favourite TV torrent site.
