Well long time since my last blogpost, it’s been pretty damn hectic I must say!
Had a fantastic day a couple weeks ago with an 8th place finish in the sunday million, always bittersweet to finish 8th but it’s still the million, and was still a whole lot of fun. Fellow Kiwi richiebro had a better finish than me, with a 3rd at the same time, great day for the motherland
The earthquake has been pretty heavy for everyone. I was asleep in bed in London when Lucas Hipkins called me up, the fulltilt player manager from melbourne at about 5.30am with the bad news. Luckily for myself no one in my immediate family was injured, but many of them have sustained fairly significant property damage, and it’s gonna be a long road back for the city and it’s people in general. My heart goes out to everyone there, and I know that they will be strong enough to weather the storm.
I’m going to start doing sweat sessions on skype for all who are interested. the timing of these will be 6pm NZ time on a thursday, and they’re gonna run for a couple hours, maybe longer if I’m going deep in something. What i plan to do is get people to open their pokerstars and fulltilt clients and we’re gonna be watching 4 tables of myself at various stages of whatever I happen to have running at the time, with any luck it’ll be some deep runs I’m in that day but i’m gonna endeavour to start us with at least 4 tables and we can see what happens from there. I’m pretty much gonna be just rambling away myself, but I’ll try to get some guests to speak on there as often as i can.
So for now, search for rjmgrace.poker on skype and add me as a friend, i know this first week is short notice and i’m sure there’s gonna be some kinks ( i have to figure out how to run a conference call on skype where i can control peoples ability to speak!) and I’ll be kicking things off this week.
See you all 6pm Thursday night!
(just to clarify for everyone in case there’s people not from NZ reading this, the time will be 00.00 thursday EST/Server time)
