Day 1A of PokerStars.net APPT Cebu 2012 has been completed. After six levels the starting field of 51 has been whittled down to 27.

Our chip leader after today’s play is Han Ruo Goh from Singapore. He finished the day with 84,300.

Other notable players who have made it through to Day 2 include: Team PokerStars PRO Ryamond Wu who will return with 24,100. He is joined by fellow Taiwanese compatriots Hung Hui Laiwith 74,800 and Wang Ping Yuan, who made it through with 21,700.

There is 2011 ANZPT Adelaide Champion Octavian Voegele who amassed 56,300. Australia’s most recent Sunday Warm-up winner Mishel Anunu also managed to survive and has 64,300.

There were some good players who were unable to negotiate their way through the day including: Australian’s Grant Levy and Aaron Benton, popular Korean Claudia Yum and another regular atPokerStars Macau, Haifeng Xue from China.
