ANZPT Season 2 - 2010

Earlier this year the much anticipated Season  2 Schedule was announced and with it came two new venues – Perth and Canberra, taking the ANZPT destination count to an impressive 7 venues. But as if that wasn’t enough,  on 14.05.10 at the  ANZPT website’s news section, an 8th venue was announced – Darwin!

Season 1 attracted 1309 entrants, across just the 5 venues in 2009 and amassed a huge AUD$2,982,436 in prize money, Season 2 is sure to push well past the AUD$4M mark in prize money with threee additional venues!! Already the Adelaide leg has topped Season 1′s prize pool by $57,330, generating a total prize pool of $644, 280. The new Perth leg, held in March this year, was a huge success attracting a field of 222 & createed a record AUD$510,600 prizepool for ANZPT Perth. Then Sydney came along in March and smashed last years prizepool with a whopping $892,000!
