The stars of Australian poker set upon the Northern Territory for Day 1B of ANZPT Darwin. Leo Boxell and Jesse McKenzie both survived the day with healthy stacks, which will make Day 2 an exciting affair. Other notable players to pay the $2,200 buy-in were online guns Liam O’Rourke and Tim English, and PokerStars Qualifier Aaron Benton. All three of them will also return for Day 2.
The aforementioned Aaron Benton is the overnight chip leader, bagging up 58,075. He’s followed by PokerStars Qualifiers Liam O’Rourke with 45,825 and Ryan Mckay with 42,975.
